Sales Manager (Player/Manager role)
£30-40K + generous commission
Our client is a growing firm within the technology sector who’re looking for someone to take control of the sales side of the business. The team is small at the moment, but will grow under your direction and with your support. This role primarily is as a sales person and your role will be to grow the client base via new business activity, relationship building, negotiation and closing deals. You’ll position yourself as a ‘go to’ person in the area for the services the company offer and will be a regular at networking events. You’ll work with the senior team in terms of setting the sales strategy and to fix budgets and targets. You’ll manage and develop another member of the sales team who is also in a business development role. Longer term it’s expected that the team will grow – but this depends on you!
This is a job that’s working regular office days but some of the networking might mean you need to attend breakfast or evening events, some flexibility is therefore required.

You need to be able to drive. The company have a pool car you can use but you may need to use your own car at times and you’ll be fully reimbursed for your costs.
