Maintenance Technician Electrical Duty Holder
As the Maintenance Technician – Electrical Duty Holder, you will be supporting the highly exacting manufacture of caravans and motor homes. You will be responsible to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance of the facility. Working to ensure the plant operates at optimum efficiency, safety and in accordance with current legislation.
Whilst reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will interface with all departments within the company. Although a day based role, a flexible approach to working is required to meet any business needs as required, also supporting and acting as Maintenance Technician when shift cover is required. Key holder and/or named on the Call out rota as required.
No direct report – however, the safe supervision of contractors is a requirement.
A proactive, strong and autonomous approach is very important for this role, challenging the status quo and always seeking to improve the effectiveness of maintenance activities ensuring facility compliance. This challenging position places high premiums on safe working, effective teamwork, clear communication, initiative, intelligent judgment, cost analysis and ability to work out of hours. Work towards the goal of Zero Defects, Zero Breakdown and Zero Accidents.
