This is an Account Manager role looking after/managing specific client accounts. Your role is very much to look after/service the client and be their first point of contact, ensure they are happy with the service being provided, resolve their problems and look for further opportunities to do business together. The role will focus on picking up inbound enquiries (mainly through the website) and guide the client through the process from start to finish and beyond.
This is very much a customer service/relationship management role, although you’ll be expected to spot sales opportunities and offer relevant support as necessary in the course of your working day.
Whilst much of this will happen via the phone you’ll also be expected to attend meetings or give presentations. There will, of course, be an administration element to the role.
You’ll need the ability to deal with people at all levels, have a passion for delivering first class customer service, an outgoing and strong personality, and the energy and commitment to deal with the wide range of tasks that come up every day. You’ll need to be able to work to deadlines, managing conflicting priorities and work with a high level of attention to detail.
This role could suit someone already in an account management or a customer service role, or potentially a graduate who can demonstrate the skills and attributes required.
