My client based in the Truro area is looking to recruit a Property Administrator to join their established team.
Main Duties and responsibilities will including; updating the Head of Property on all forthcoming rent reviews, tenancy expiries and rent payments. Providing administrative support and diary management. Introducing and maintaining professional office standards consistent with those required by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and ISO quality management standards. Assisting in the management of key dates and budgeted expenditure for property developments and planning applications. Maintaining the database of redundant buildings and development opportunities. Residential Property and Legislative Compliance
Candidates will be expected to maintain records of the approved contractor procedure to ensure that all contractors are appropriately qualified and insured for the works they undertake. Manage the database and calendars to ensure that estate properties comply with legislative requirements – periodic asbestos surveys, energy performance certificates, electrical safety checks and, annual servicing and testing relevant fixed appliances. Tenant and contractor liaison to undertake reactive and planned property repairs. Maintain and update the repairs and maintenance schedules. Advertise properties to let, coordinate viewing dates and tenders submitted. Other duties as may reasonably be required.
Excellent IT skills will be required along with numeracy, literacy and attention to detail. Due to the nature of the role and business high levels of confidentiality will be required . Candidates will have positive outlook and able to manage an evolving and often demanding work load.
