Full-Time Marketing Executive – Plymouth

The Chamber is seeking a Marketing Executive to plan, develop and implement chamber-wide marketing communications activities, event campaigns and the production of marketing material both on and offline.
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware and dedicated to improving and raising the profile of chamber activities, services and member engagement programmes.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, your key responsibilities will be:-
Assisting the CEO in developing, implementing and controlling a measurable, budgeted, marketing strategy.
Creating budgeted marketing plans with clear objectives for membership campaigns, events, training programmes, co-hosted events and policy issues. To implement, control and monitor the results of these campaigns.
Be proactive in building and maintaining a consistent Chamber brand identity throughout all activities across all channels.
Create, procure and manage all promotional/marketing collateral. This includes segmented email marketing, print collateral and website content, contracting and managing the services of external suppliers/resources where appropriate.
Marketing-based degree level qualification or CIM Diploma in professional Marketing or equivalent experience.
Great planning, organisational and communication skills.
Graphic design skills such as Adobe Illustrator or similar would be advantageous.
Good copy writing skills for press and promotional activities.
E-campaign delivery and website management.
Carrying out effective social media campaigns.
Minimum 3 years’ marketing experience in a business related environment.
A full driving licence and access to a car.
Salary £22,000 – £25,000 per annum DOE in addition you will be offered stakeholder pension and private healthcare.
