Contract Key Worker Domiciliary Care

We are Care Wyvern, a high quality care service based in Taunton, supporting clients to live in their own homes. We are seeking to recruit several key workers who are able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support. You will perform care duties as well as provide support for the field care supervisor and will need to provide support to a team of new social care workers.
Key workers plays a central role in providing quality service our wonderful clients and offer a support connection between the social care workers and field care supervisor. We will support you to achieve your career goals with training, supervision, and ongoing support.
You will be required to work to an agreed specified work schedule that includes early morning/evenings and alternate weekends. The role will necessitate you attending any call that the requires your attention. You will also be required to undertake a higher level of care duties where required i.e. End of Life Care.
You will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of care provision, either paid or voluntary (includes care for friends/family). Have experience in Social care and be prepared to undertake regular professional development. You will have to have achieved or be willing to work towards Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care, Undertake the in house Care Certificate Assessor training, and undertake any additional training that is required as directed by the Care and Operations Manager.
