We are recruitng an experienced Accounts and Payroll Assistant for our client in Truro. Our client owns and operates a substantial number of prestige restaurants and hospitality enterprises across Cornwall and the Southeast.
Due to continued expansion, a Head of Finance has been appointed (well known to Trial Balance), who is now looking to assemble her team. This is a brand-new role within the company and a great opportunity for an ambitious accounts assistant seeking a rapidly developing position. The role will encompass a variety of general accountancy duties to include ledger controls, bank reconciliations and credit control. The successful candidate will also take a lead responsibility in processing a weekly payroll for approx. 100 staff.
Suitable candidates will possess at least 12-18 months of well-rounded experience gained in a similar environment. Candidates may be qualified by experience, part or filly AAT qualified and this employer will support study as required. It’s an urgent requirement and the Head of Finance hopes to appoint as soon as possible.
